Home-based\, computer-based and storefront opportunities allow the tailoring of a business to best suit one’s disabilities. Join us to see if a self-owned business is a good possibility for your client. \nWe will begin with a discussion about business creation\, business format and the building of an employment team to support your client’s efforts. \nA thorough discussion of the Social Security Administration (SSA) rules concerning self-employment\, income reporting and accounting will cover the SSDI rules concerning self-employment income and its impact on SSDI benefits. \nThis will be followed by a discussion of all SSA rules concerning self-employment and its income on SSI benefits. \nHealthcare is among the most important issues for any recipient of disability benefits who is considering a self-employment future. We will discuss how a new business income might affect your client’s Medicare and Medicaid\, and how to maintain health benefits.
